about

Please understand, „Sang Phat Editor“ is a reference, a blueprint to a story told a bit differently night after night. Never before has a band popped, melted... exploded so miserably.

U.S. Maple are the pioneers of the new school, controlling time and space without falling hack to today's trendier form - improvising. Make no mistake, U.S. Maple are about songs and not the sum of parts. This is rocknroll re-aped, engaging on all levels, placing emphasis where the emphasis belongs – entertainment.

Produced by Jim O'Rourke, Sang Phat Editor is U.S. Maple's second album.

What's the world coming to?

This.

FUN FACT(S):
On "Mountain Top", the band pulls out of the track during the closing moments, leaving the Flying Luttenbachers to finish the song!

In the United Kingdom, prior to Sang Phat's release, Skin Graft had been able to arrange Peel Sessions for U.S Maple, and Melt-Banana's Yasuko and Agata joined in on two of the tracks. The oft-talked about U.S. Maple "Banana-Peel sessions" have never been released.

During these sessions, an additional track was recorded for a collaboration with Derek Bailey. It remains in the vault
